About Loyola

Located in the Uptown section of New Orleans, one of the city's most prestigious residential neighborhoods and 15 minutes away from downtown and the French Quarter, Loyola University New Orleans is a private "not-for-profit" Catholic institution that emphasizes the Jesuit tradition of education and is one of 28 Jesuit colleges and universities in the United States. Master of Science in Criminal Justice Administration

Loyola University New Orleans' Master of Science in Criminal Justice Administration focuses on honing the skills and knowledge required to succeed, and lead, in today's demanding criminal justice administration environment. Offered in two specializations:

Master of Science in Nursing

If you are a Registered Nurse who possesses a BSN, our MSN degree with a HCSM specialization will prepare you to excel in a variety of Nursing Leadership positions in many types of healthcare organizations. The Master of Science in Nursing program is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission.

BLEND Program

If you are an RN with a non-nursing bachelor’s degree, you may be admitted to Loyola’s BLEND Program (MSN Bridge) to earn the undergraduate nursing credits that will allow you to move directly into the MSN program.

Doctor of Nursing Practice program

The Doctor of Nursing Practice program admits post-masters students who hold a masters degree as nurse practitioners in the specialization of Women's Health, Gerontology, Pediatrics, and Family/Adult and wish to pursue the practice doctorate, DNP.

Loyola Institute for Ministry

The mission of the Loyola Institute for Ministry (LIM) is to prepare women and men for religious education and ministerial leadership in Catholic and other Christian communities through professional graduate education and through professional continuing education.
