Online MSN Degree Admission Requirements

You must already possess:

• A BSN degree from a school accredited by the National League for Nursing or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, or a bachelor's degree in any field, plus completion of Loyola's BLEND Program
• A current and unrestricted RN license to practice in the United States
• A cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher on all prior undergraduate work
• The undergraduate equivalent of three credit hours in statistics

Please submit:

• Download the application checklist
• $40 application fee (check made payable to Loyola University New Orleans)
• Fill out our Online Application or or Download the PDF version here
• A typed goal statement, approximately one page in length, describing your career goals and interest in graduate education
• A copy of your current and unrestricted RN license
• Official transcripts from college/university attended. Loyola University recommends ECE (www.ece.org) for all international transcripts
• Three recommendations (on the form provided by Loyola) from persons knowledgeable about the applicant's aptitude for graduate school such as -former Professors or Nursing Supervisors
• Proof of criminal background check through http://www.CertifiedBackground.com
